During the tour we will take you to visit Lisbon's historic centre that resisted the 1755 earthquake and you will learn about the Discovery Period in Portugal. Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Lisbon Heritage

Transfer from Lisbon Airport (LIS) to the Hotel.
Check-in at a 4-star Hotel – Hotel da Estrela. Located in a baroque area of Estrela, in Lisbon, the Estrela Hotel is housed in the elegant Palace of the Counts of Paraty. Its interiors design by Miguel Câncio Martins (Budha Bar of Paris, Pacha of Marrakech) bring back the spirit of the ancient schools, offering an original experience stay. You will discover the Lisbon's city centre. The private guide will take you to visit Lisbon's Cathedral (Sé Catedral), the only building that survived the 1755 earthquake. After, we go up one of Lisbon's seven hills, in the Alfama neighbourhood you will find the São Jorge Castle, where you will have the opportunity to enjoy one of the most beautiful views of the city. Going down the typical streets of Lisbon's historic centre, we will take you to discover the Baixa Pombalina, a place that was renovated after de earthquake, where you will find the Rua Augusta Arch and the Santa Justa Lift. During the afternoon, in the western wing of Praça do Comércio or the old Terreiro do Paço is one of the most emblematic squares in Europe, the place that was home to the Royal Palace of Portugal for two centuries. Here, you will have a commented wine tasting by the in-house enologist at the ViniPortugal's Tasting Room.
For wine and food lovers, we will take you to dinner in the lively Chiado neighbourhood, in one of the best wine bars in Lisbon, By the Wine, from world-renowned producer José Maria da Fonseca.

Day 2: Lisbon Wine Tour

Enjoy your breakfast at the Hotel. The private driver is waiting for you in the Hotel. Starting in Lisbon, you will have the opportunity to discover some of the best wine producers of the region. The first stop will be at Adega Mãe. Adega Mãe is a temple erected to wine and the worship associated with it. It is discerning and demanding on the moment of producing/selling and available and opened when the moment of sharing arrives. It is a Cellar of the future, equipped with the most advanced media for an optimal production regarding its resources. Aware of the nobility of wine, respectful of its tradition and committed to nourish their origins. Guided visit and wine tasting. After the wine experience, discover Quinta do Gradil, an estate with a century-old wine tradition where you will taste the flavours of the Portuguese cuisine while enjoying one of the most charming views for wine lovers. Quinta do Gradil has a strong wine tradition that has persisted for centuries. The property comprises a noble Chapel ornamented by an artistically decorated tower, a cellar and an agricultural area of 200 hectares with fruit and wine production where international award-winning wines are produced. After lunch in the wine farm, the tour continues with a visit to the largest Oriental Garden in Europe - The Buddha Eden, at Quinta dos Loridos. Between Buddhas, pagodas, terracotta statues and various sculptures carefully placed among the vegetation, it is estimated that over 6,000 tons of marble and granite were used to build this monumental work. The central stairway is the focal point of the garden, where the golden Buddhas welcome you peacefully. In the central lake is possible to see KOI fish and the sculpted dragons that arise from the water At the end you will taste their fabulous wines. Before going back to Lisbon, we suggest a tour to one of the most charming medieval villages in Portugal - Óbidos- where you can't leave without tasting the famous Ginjinha de Óbidos. This charming and timeless town is a lovely "open air museum" of white houses surrounded by a medieval castle. Drop off at the Hotel

Day 3: Lisbon River Cruise

Breakfast in the Hotel followed by Check-out. Transfer to Belém. Discover Belém, the Discovery Time in Portugal left major historic landmarks in this area, we suggest a visit to the icons of the Discoveries: The Padrãos dos Descobrimentos, the emblematic Belém Tower and the magnific Jerónimos Monastery.
In the afternoon enjoy an excelent River cruise in a elegant boat from Confeitaria Nacional. The experience that combines the most exquisite viewpoint of Lisbon with Portuguese flavours - Confeitaria Nacional recipes, over a century old, of cakes and patisserie are combined with modern flavors to create lunches, sandwiches and snacks, prepared and signed by the Chef of Confeitaria Nacional. During this 90 minute trip you have the possibility of taking the best pictures of the best tourist attractions and to enjoy the delicious food and the comfort already a tradicion of Confeitaria Nacional.
Transfer to the Airport of Lisbon (LIS).
