Welcome to Portugal! Your Wine Tourism in Portugal adventure begins as you touch down at Lisbon International Airport (LIS). Once you clear airport formalities, our deluxe Mercedes vehicle with an English-speaking chauffeur will be ready to whisk you away to the elegant Brown's Avenue Hotel.

Located on the fringes of the iconic Avenida da Liberdade, Brown's Avenue Hotel seamlessly blends modern design with comfort and luxury. Immerse yourself in the cosmopolitan atmosphere of this vibrant area, known for its haute couture shops, theaters, and gastronomic experiences.

Dinner will be served at Solar dos Presuntos“Whoever comes into this home, enters their own home”. This was the feeling prevailing back on 30th October 1974 when Solar dos Presuntos first threw open its doors. And that is how it remains after some four decades dedicated to the very best traditions in Portuguese cuisine with a Minho inspiration.

End of the day.

Day 2: Culinary and Cultural Exploration in Lisbon

Breakfast at the hotel.

The Chauffeur and certified guide are waiting for you in the hotel lobby.

Ascend one of Lisbon's seven hills and explore the historic Alfama neighborhood, home to São Jorge Castle. Enjoy breathtaking views of the city. Discover the renovated Baixa district, featuring iconic landmarks such as Rua Augusta Arch, the Santa Justa Lift, and Comércio Square.

Let yourself be involved by the seductive appeal of Chiado, a neighborhood that evokes the bourgeois tastes of 19th-century Lisbon. Go to Café a Brasileira and sip on bica – the very own Portuguese espresso. Admire the stunning brass-and-wood Art Nouveau interior, home since of intellectuals and artists (including Fernando Pessoa and Almada Negreiros) since the early nineteenth century.

Then you will find O Trevo. This place is a pilgrimage for Anthony Bourdain fans and tops every list of the top bifanas in Lisbon. Anthony Bourdain was in Lisbon for No Reservations and he went to this bar. The sliced Portuguese roll is fresh, soft, and melts in your mouth. A spicy thin slice of pork between bread, each bite is accompanied by an involuntary “mmmmm!”.

Try our traditional pastel de bacalhau (salted doc puff pastry). Casa Portuguesa do Pastel de Bacalhau offers innovative versions of Pasteis de Bacalhau. This concept store has reinvented the way Portuguese bacalhau codfish cakes are made. They combine the traditional codfish cake with the famous Serra da Estrela  Portuguese cheese into one delicious Pastel de Bacalhau.

It is time for a delicious ginjinha, a liquor to drink and “beg” for more. The place we are going to take you is the historic house, founded in 1840, where the most iconic drink in Lisbon was sold for the first time.

Pastel de nata is a mandatory treat on any food tour! Be delighted with our traditional custard tarts at Fábrica dos Pastéis de Nata.

Following this delectable experience, venture into the ultra-luxurious Avenida da Liberdade, where avid shoppers will discover an array of renowned brands such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, Onofre, Armani, Zadig & Voltaire, and Tod’s.

In the afternoon, embark on a captivating drive/walking tour in Belém. Originally a hub for Lisbon’s shipyards and docks, Belém holds historical significance as the starting point for 15th-century voyages that explored sea routes to India, East Africa, and Brazil. The area richly commemorates its seafaring heritage with extravagant buildings funded by the immense wealth of that era.

Explore architectural marvels in Belem, including the iconic Torre de Belém, Lisbon’s most famous monument, Mosteiro dos Jerónimos exemplifying Manueline style, and the imposing Padrão dos Descobrimentos, a tribute to 15th-century Portuguese explorers. Don't miss the breathtaking panoramic rooftop viewpoint.

Day 3: Sintra, Cascais and Comporta

Breakfast at the hotel followed by Check-out.

Sintra, the Moon Hill, is a place full of magic and mystery, where Nature and Man have combined in such a perfect symbiosis that UNESCO has granted it World Heritage Site status. Fall in love with some of Portugal's most romantic and astonishing Palaces. The sumptuous and wonderfully atmospheric National Palace of Pena and its Gardens, appear as a wild fantasy of domes, towers, ramparts, and walkways. The Quinta da Ragaleira, a 19th-century palace, although it looks older, boasts impressive decorations laden with Masonic references, the gardens of Seteais Palace and the Castle of the Moors, built in the ninth century.

Lunch will be served at Incomum Restaurant. This gastronomic space, owned by Chef Luis Santos, has to offer plenty of creative suggestions. An elegant and refined atmosphere, this all in a contemporary and relaxed welcoming space with an expert staff always ready in the art of good service and hospitality.

As the day unfolds, venture to the coastal haven of Cascais, a quaint village that evolved into one of Portugal's most cosmopolitan and sought-after destinations. Explore the charm that captivated King Luís I, who chose this bay for his summer residence in the late 19th century. With a mild climate and an astounding 260 rainless days annually, Cascais became the playground for the affluent families of the time, creating a haven of villas and mansions.

As the sun begins to set, embark on a scenic journey towards Comporta. Witness the changing landscapes as you hit the road, anticipating the tranquility that awaits.

Drop-off at the Hotel.

Check-in at Spatia Comporta Resort. It is a Paradise tucked away on Portugal’s Atlantic coast, where golden beaches stretch out as far as the eye can see, backed by pine woods. The sands run down to a turquoise sea and a view of the Arrábida hills over the bay. Free-flowing space, indoors and out, is the essence of Spatia Comporta’s understated luxury. The resort buildings blend with the Mediterranean landscape, in perfect harmony with their natural surroundings. Day 4: Day of Gastronomic Bliss and Natural Wonders

Breakfast at the hotel.

The Chauffeur is waiting for you at the hotel lobby.

You will visit Quinta Brejinho da CostaFrom Portugal, planted by the sea, an immense frontier emerges, a platform of wonder and discovery. Behold the old Ocean Sea. From here, half the world was opened, and almost as much, in which men and ships were audacious protagonists of adventures, defying myths, and writing heroic stories that still inspire us today. The Atlantic Ocean remains mysterious and transformative, being exceptional in the way we make wines in a unique geographic region in the world. Just as there are wines from valleys and volcanic areas, only Quinta do Brejinho can claim to be the creator of Atlantic wines. Enjoy a wine tasting, served with regional products.

After the wine experience, you will discover, and explore the architectural masterpiece of Cais Palafítico da Carrasqueira, a pier built in the 1950s and 1960s with delicate, irregular wooden piles. Serving as a dock for fishing boats, it offers an enchanting stroll along the water, allowing you to observe boats up close and witness the diverse birdlife of the Sado Estuary.

In the afternoon, enjoy a 1 hour and a half river cruise and admire the natural beauty of Alcácer do Sal and the River Sado. Are you ready for an unforgettable experience aboard a boat powered only by solar energy? The Sunrice is 100% silent, safe, and stable, allowing pure, relaxing contact with the River Sado and its biodiversity. This solar boat is friendly to the ecosystem, and moves harmoniously, without emitting polluting gases, without consuming fossil fuels, and without spilling oils into the water. It's a magnificent experience of experiencing nature with its incredible landscapes and the sounds of the Alentejo, taking advantage of this region's most abundant natural resource: the sun!

Late afternoon, In the middle of the organic garden, you will enjoy your dinner at Food Circle – Sublime Comporta’s outdoor organic restaurant. This is a dynamic space, based on sustainable production and inspired by the principles of permaculture.
