Welcome to Portugal. Wine Tourism in Portugal will invite you to discover the amazing Lisbon.
After airport formalities at Lisbon International Airport (LIS), you will be collected outside customs, and transferred, by a Deluxe vehicle with English speaking Chauffeur, to the Hotel.
Check-in at PortoBay Marquês. Boasting a rooftop terrace adorned with a refreshing plunge pool, this exquisite establishment finds its place in the heart of Lisbon, adjacent to the renowned Avenida da Liberdade.
You will then have a Drive/Walking Tour in Lisbon. In Lisbon's historic center, we will take you to the seductive appeal of the Chiado, a neighborhood evoking the bourgeois tastes of 19th-century Lisbon. You will visit Lisbon's Cathedral, the only building that survived the 1755 earthquake. Afterward, you’ll go up one of Lisbon's seven hills, and, in the Alfama neighborhood you will find São Jorge Castle, and have the chance to enjoy one of the most stunning views of the city. Afterward, you will discover the renovated "Baixa Pombalina", where you will find the ultra-luxurious Avenida da Liberdade (where shoppers can find stores such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, and Onofre, among others). For a true Portuguese experience, you can also discover traditions and heritage in local shops, whose focus is on selling quality national products. 'A Vida Portuguesa', Silva & Feijóo, Fantastic World Of Portuguese Sardines, Casa Macário, Pérola do Arsenal, Vista Alegre, Marques & Sequeira, and Pérola de São Mamede are worth the visit.
Dinner will be served at By The Wine. This is a relaxed space for wine and food lovers in the heart of Lisbon. Between the various gastronomic options, you can find homemade bread from the Algarve, Iberian acorn ham, country sausages from Guijuelo (Salamanca area), a choice of cheese boards, Sado oysters, mussel’s salad, salmon ceviche, carpaccio, and desserts to accompany the Muscatels from Setúbal.

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before seamlessly transitioning to your next adventure. Your chauffeur awaits you in the hotel lobby, ready to embark on the journey ahead.
You will visit AdegaMãe. With a remarkable production capacity of 1.2 million liters per year, this vinicultural haven gives rise to a comprehensive array of wines. Adega Mãe stands as a modern sanctuary devoted to the art of winemaking, equipped with cutting-edge technology to ensure optimal production while respecting its precious resources.
Enrich your experience with a guided tour that unveils the secrets of the estate, allowing you to immerse yourself in the vinicultural artistry of the Cellar of the future. Following the exploration, treat your palate to a delectable tapas-style lunch, featuring delights such as codfish ceviche and the traditional sweet bean pastry. The indulgence continues with a wine-tasting session, presenting a selection of six exquisite wines that encapsulate the essence of AdegaMãe's craftsmanship.
On your way back to the hotel, enjoy a drive/walking tour in Belém a charming district to the west of Lisbon, and is the setting for many of the city’s most iconic tourist attractions. Originally, Belém was the location of Lisbon’s shipyards and docks, and from here departed the 15th-century voyages that discovered the sea routes to India, East Africa, and Brazil. This rich seafaring heritage is commemorated in Belém, along with extravagant buildings that were funded by the vast wealth that flowed into Portugal from the newly discovered colonies. Belém is one of the finest areas of Lisbon and offers outstanding tourist attractions like Torre de Belém or Belém Tower, Lisbon’s most famous and photographed monument, Mosteiro dos Jerónimos the greatest example of the Manueline style of architecture, and the imposing Padrão dos Descobrimentos, a monument to the 15th-century Portuguese explorers, and its panoramic rooftop viewpoint.
The Coach Museum, the MAAT Museum, Museu Coleção Berardo, and the Champalimaud Foundation are some of the museums to visit nearby.

You will visit Adega Regional de Colares. Located between Sintra mountain and the Atlantic Ocean, the Colares region encloses the parishes of Colares, S. João das Lampas, and S. Martinho, in the Sintra district. Colares has been an Appellation Origin since 1908, being the westernmost demarcated region of continental Europe and the smallest still-wine-producing region in Portugal. Understanding the importance of protecting and preserving the Colares wine culture, its unique varieties, and original viticulture methods. The AR Colares philosophy rests on the imperative to ‘respect the Colares terroir’ and continue the tradition of our ancestors. We will allow you to visit the winemaking and stage facilities, with an explanation of the process, followed by wine tasting in the main cellar (Nineteenth-century building) and winery shop.
Continue your tour towards Sintra. You will have a Drive/Walking tour with a private driver. Sintra, the Moon Hill, is a place full of magic and mystery, where Nature and Man have combined in such a perfect symbiosis that UNESCO has granted it World Heritage Site status. The sumptuous and wonderfully atmospheric National Palace of Pena and its Gardens appear as a wild fantasy of domes, towers, ramparts, and walkways.
