Day 1: Discover Lisbon

Welcome to Portugal. Wine Tourism in Portugal will invite you to discover the amazing Lisbon.

After airport formalities at Lisbon International Airport (LIS), you will be collected outside customs, and transferred, by a Deluxe vehicle with an English-speaking chauffeur, to the Hotel.

Check-in at H10 Duque de Loulé. This elegant hotel is centrally located in Lisbon, offering easy access to the city’s historic neighborhoods and vibrant avenues. With thoughtfully designed interiors and modern amenities, it provides a comfortable and stylish base to explore the Portuguese capital.

You will then have a Drive/Walking Tour in Lisbon. In Lisbon's historic center, we will take you to the seductive appeal of the Chiado, a neighborhood evoking the bourgeois tastes of 19th-century Lisbon. You will visit Lisbon's Cathedral, the only building that survived the 1755 earthquake. Afterward, you’ll go up one of Lisbon's seven hills, and, in the Alfama neighborhood you will find São Jorge Castle, and have the chance to enjoy one of the most stunning views of the city. Afterward, you will discover the renovated "Baixa Pombalina", where you will find the ultra-luxurious Avenida da Liberdade (where shoppers can find stores such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, Gucci, and Onofre, among others). For a true Portuguese experience, you can also discover traditions and heritage in local shops, whose focus is on selling quality national products. 'A Vida Portuguesa', Silva & Feijóo, Fantastic World Of Portuguese Sardines, Casa Macário, Pérola do Arsenal, Vista Alegre, Marques & Sequeira, and Pérola de São Mamede are worth the visit.

Dinner will be served at Café Luso. Café Luso is one of Lisbon’s most iconic Fado houses, located in the heart of the Bairro Alto district. Since 1927, it has been a cornerstone of Portuguese culture, offering guests an authentic experience of traditional Fado music in an intimate and charming setting. The restaurant pairs soulful performances with classic Portuguese cuisine, including seasonal specialties and regional wines, creating a perfect harmony of music, flavor, and atmosphere. (Optional)

Drop-off at the Hotel.

End of day.

Day 2: Wineries in Lisbon

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before seamlessly transitioning to your next adventure. Your chauffeur awaits you in the hotel lobby, ready to embark on the journey ahead.

Travel to Quinta do Gradil, a historic and picturesque estate in the Lisbon region. Set amidst rolling vineyards, this family-owned property offers a perfect blend of tradition and modern winemaking. Upon arrival, enjoy a guided tour of the estate and a wine tasting, exploring the vineyards, cellars, and production facilities while learning about the history and craft behind their wines.

Following the tour, enjoy a picnic on the grounds of Quinta do Gradil, featuring a carefully selected assortment of regional products paired with the estate’s wines. Relax among the vines and soak in the stunning scenery, enjoying an authentic Douro Valley-inspired experience.

On your way back to the hotel, enjoy a drive/walking tour in Belém a charming district to the west of Lisbon, and is the setting for many of the city’s most iconic tourist attractions. Originally, Belém was the location of Lisbon’s shipyards and docks, and from here departed the 15th-century voyages that discovered the sea routes to India, East Africa, and Brazil. This rich seafaring heritage is commemorated in Belém, along with extravagant buildings that were funded by the vast wealth that flowed into Portugal from the newly discovered colonies. Belém is one of the finest areas of Lisbon and offers outstanding tourist attractions like Torre de Belém or Belém Tower, Lisbon’s most famous and photographed monument, Mosteiro dos Jerónimos the greatest example of the Manueline style of architecture, and the imposing Padrão dos Descobrimentos, a monument to the 15th-century Portuguese explorers, and its panoramic rooftop viewpoint.

The Coach Museum, the MAAT Museum, Museu Coleção Berardo, and the Champalimaud Foundation are some of the museums to visit nearby.

Day 3: Colares and Sintra

Begin your day with a delightful breakfast at the hotel before seamlessly transitioning to your next adventure. Your chauffeur awaits you in the hotel lobby, ready to embark on the journey ahead.

Start the day with a visit, and guided tapas tour in Adega Regional de Colares, a picturesque winery nestled between the Sintra mountains and the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a curated selection of local delicacies, from freshly prepared seafood and artisanal cheeses to regional charcuterie and traditional pastries. As you taste the flavors of the region, your guide will introduce you to the culinary traditions, local ingredients, and food culture that make Colares so unique.

Continue your tour towards Sintra. You will have a Drive/Walking tour with a private driver. Sintra, the Moon Hill, is a place full of magic and mystery, where Nature and Man have combined in such a perfect symbiosis that UNESCO has granted it World Heritage Site status. Fall in love with some of the most romantic and astonishing Palaces in Portugal. The sumptuous and wonderfully atmospheric National Palace of Pena and its Gardens appear as a wild fantasy of domes, towers, ramparts, and walkways. The Quinta da Regaleira, is a 19th-century palace, although it looks older, boasting impressive decorations laden with Masonic references, the gardens of Seteais Palace, and the Castle of the Moors, built in the ninth century.
