The second Stop is at the Graham's Port Lodge, from the Symington family. Graham’s is still a working cellar. No visit to the Lodge will pass without hearing the sounds of the Coopers’ hammers or seeing the lodgemen collecting samples for the tasting room. Day 4: Discover the Douro Valley

Breakfast will be served at the hotel.
After the Check-out procedures, you will leave towards Douro Valley (a 2 hours drive) the enchanting Port wine region, with one of the most stunning landscapes in all of Portugal.
Following the river Douro upstream, you reach the Alto Douro Wine Region. This is a land of traditions, a place of enchantment and mysticism, a great stretch of land where Nature reigns in perfect harmony with the inhabitants that have shaped the valley slopes and organized the land into vineyards. Each of these vineyards can be accessed by winding roads that pattern the landscape. There has been evidence of wine production for more than two thousand years in the region but it was only in 1756 that the Demarcated Douro Region was created and wine production in the region was organized and became internationally recognized. It was the first region in the world to be demarcated and it is a land where traditions and modernity go hand-in-hand. This combination is still evident today in the traditional harvest that is still done by hand and the squashing of the grapes by foot and the most modern vinification processes that accompany these traditions.
After check-in procedures at Quinta Nova, take your time to relax and enjoy the view. Quinta Nova Luxury House Winery, the first wine hotel in Portugal, was born from the reconstruction of the old 19th century manor house, in full harmony with nature inside this 120 hectares property. Quinta Nova N. S. do Carmo is a place of extreme beauty in the heart of the Douro and it's owned by the Amorim family since 1999. But this property is prior to 1764 and a historical research confirms it as a great land belonging to the Portuguese Royal Family. The historic sites that are still preserved today and opened for visitors reveal all this: the creek, the gazebo, the stone mark of the Marquis of Pombal dated of 1758, the cellar's crest, two chapels and three secular orchards.
End of the day

Day 5: Renowned brands in Douro

Wake up to the beautiful Douro landscape and recharge your batteries with a fantastic breakfast at the hotel. The visit to Quinta do Crasto is one of the Highlights of this Tour. Located on the right bank of the Douro river, with a well known swimming pool area (designed by architect Souto Moura winner of the Pritzker Prize in 2011) a water mirror with breathtaking scenery, Quinta do Crasto is the family estate of Leonor and Jorge Roquete for over a century. Its origin dates back to the early 17th century as its first known references are from 1615. Visit the famous old vineyards, winery and beautiful warehouse barrels, which matured table wines and premium Port wines. After the visit, there is a tasting of 5 wines presented by a representative of Quinta do Crasto that guides visitors along the tasting experience. One of the biggest recognitions received by this Quinta came in 2008, when the magazine Wine Spectator, an international benchmark in the sector, considered the Quinta do Crasto Reserva Old Vines 2005 from vines with 70 years, the third best wine in the world, giving it a 95 rating in one hundred points. After this excellent experience you will visit Quinta Nova Luxury Winery House "one of the nine must-see wineries in the world", who says it is American Airlines. Visit in detail all production of wines, the vineyard, the winery of 1764, the underground wine cellar and end your visit with a tasting of 3 wines in the store.

For dinner, indulge yourself with the delicacies that Conceitus Winery Restaurant (Quinta Nova Restaurant) has to offer you. The menu appeals to the senses and emotions, in a relaxed and curious way. The proposals are different every day and guests never know the menu, letting themselves be guided by the inspiration of Chef José Pinto (Drinks not included).
