Terms & Conditions

Day 1: Porto to the Douro Valley

Welcome to Portugal. Wine Tourism in Portugal will invite you to discover the amazing Douro Valley aboard a Private Yacht.

After airport formalities at Porto International Airport (OPO) or pick-up at your hotel in Porto, you will be transferred, by deluxe vehicle with an English-speaking Chauffeur to the Marina da Afurada Quay. 

Check-in and Boarding at the Marina, and then, enjoy breakfast, served on board. 

Departure to Régua.

Crestuma-Lever Dam (sluice rises 14 m).

Lunch is served at Olivetto Restaurant. The chef Davide Couto welcomes you to the kitchen of Olivetto. You'll have the chance to taste traditional Douro flavors with new textures! A Mediterranean-based cuisine where olive oil is the millennial element of excellence. (Optional)

Carrapatelo Dam (sluice rises 35 m). 

Arrival at Régua. Leisure time in the city.

Dinner is waiting for you at Castas & Pratos Restaurant. Castas e Pratos, CP for short, results from the will of Edgar Gouveia and Manuel Osório, two entrepreneurs joined by family ties and motivated by the ambition to create an innovative and distinctive project, combined with the passion for the Douro. Thus was born Castas e Pratos, a restaurant located in a historic space, in the old warehouses of CP, the Portuguese Railways, in Régua, luxuriously renovated with all the necessary comfort to make you aware of the best of the region of the Douro.  (Optional)

Day 2: Exploring the Douro: Quintas, Wine and Landscapes 

Wake up to the beautiful Douro landscape and recharge your batteries with a fantastic breakfast served on board.

Departing from Régua Quay to Quinta de Ventozelo's pier

Régua dam (sluice rises 28 m). Arrival at Quinta de Ventozelo's pier.

You will discover one of the finest Quintas in the Douro Valley - Quinta de Ventozelo. The Quinta was once farmed by Cistercian monks who inhabited the region in the Middle Ages. The monks transformed local agriculture and began the production of port wine. One of the largest and oldest of the Douro estates, it has passed through different hands down the centuries, each molding and transforming it into what it is today. 
 
Enjoy a picnic at Ventozelo, featuring a selection of regional products and specialties. (Note: the picnic location and setup will depend on the weather, but an equally amazing alternative will be arranged to ensure a memorable experience.)
 

Back to the Quinta de Ventozelo's pier.

The cruise Quinta de Ventozelo's pier - Tua - Pinhão, is one of the highlights of this Tour. Be amazed by the scenarios that the Douro has to offer.

Back to Pinhão, your private transfer is waiting for you.

In the afternoon, enjoy a private visit and wine tasting at Quinta do Bomfim, a family-owned estate in the heart of the Douro Valley. The Symington family, who have worked the vineyards here for five generations, continue to produce some of the region’s finest Ports and Douro DOC wines. During your visit, explore the vineyards, winery, and old wine cellar, and learn about the estate’s rich heritage and winemaking traditions.
 
In the evening, dinner will be served at Quinta do Bomfim, offering traditional Portuguese cuisine prepared with fresh, locally sourced ingredients, paired perfectly with the estate’s own wines, all while enjoying the spectacular views of the Douro River and surrounding vineyards.

You will be transferred back to the Yacht.

Day 3: Final Day with a Scenic Cruise

Begin your day with a sumptuous breakfast served on board, setting the stage for a day filled with luxury and exploration.

Régua dam and then, a stop at Douro Valley for lunch. Enjoy lunch at Sirga, a charming restaurant nestled in a refuge of schist and wood, offering a peaceful and privileged view of the Douro Valley. Savor a menu inspired by traditional regional flavors, enhanced with modern culinary touches and crafted from locally sourced produce. (Optional)
