Welcome to Portugal. Wine Tourism in Portugal will invite you to discover the amazing Douro Valley.

Enjoy the scenic 2-hour road trip to the Douro Valley. Sit back, relax, and savor the journey, taking in the picturesque landscapes that unfold along the route.
Upon arrival, check in at your selected hotel, where you will stay at a Wine Hotel (Category B) or a Hotel (Category A), depending on your preference. Each option offers a distinctive experience, combining comfort, character, and a strong connection to the region’s winemaking heritage.
Check in at one of these hotels: Category A Vintage House Pinhão. Alternatively, immerse yourself in the refined ambiance of Category B, which includes the infamous Quinta da Pacheca, Quinta de La Rosa, and Quinta do Vallado. The choice is yours, offering a personalized touch to elevate your accommodation experience.
After check-in, enjoy a guided visit to a renowned local winery, where you will learn about the history of the estate, the vineyards, and the winemaking process, followed by a wine tasting showcasing the unique character of the Douro.
In the evening, enjoy dinner at your chosen hotel or wine estate (optional), featuring regional cuisine prepared with fresh local ingredients and thoughtfully paired with Douro wines.

The Private driver is waiting for you in the lobby of the Hotel and will take you to two of the finest Quintas in the Douro Valley.
The first stop will be at Quinta do Crasto. Located between Régua and Pinhão, Quinta do Crasto is owned by the family of Leonor and Jorge Roquette for more than a century. Its origin dates back to the 19th century. The first known references date back to 1615. One of the greatest acknowledgments came in 2008, when Wine Spectator, an international reference of the sector, considered Quinta do Crasto Reserva Vinhas Velhas 2005, coming from vineyards with 70 years, the third-best wine in the world that year, giving it a rating of 95 in one hundred points. You will visit the vineyards, including the famous old vineyards of Quinta do Crasto, a winery, and a barrel cellar. After the visit, you will have a tasting of 5 wines.
After the Wine experience, enjoy lunch and views in the Terraçu's Restaurant. The menu appeals to the senses and emotions, in a relaxed and curious way. The proposals are different every day and guests never know the menu, letting themselves be guided by the inspiration of the Chef. (optional)
After lunch, you will discover Quinta Nova, Nossa Senhora do Carmo. "One of the 9 must-see wineries in the world", distinguished by American Airlines. Quinta Nova Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a place of extreme beauty in the heart of the Douro and it's been owned by the Amorim family since 1999. But this property was before 1764 and historical research confirms it as a great land belonging to the Portuguese Royal Family. The historic sites that are still preserved today and open for visitors reveal all this: the creek, the gazebo, the stone mark of the Marquis of Pombal dated 1758, the cellar's crest, two chapels, and three secular orchards. You will, then, have a Guided Tour through the vines, the winery dated from 1764, and the underground cellar. The visit ends with a tasting of 3 wines at the wine shop.
Conclude your visit with a delightful pedestrian circuit at Quinta Nova. The Quinta Nova de Nossa Senhora do Carmo walking trail is eight kilometers long and is undoubtedly a great way to get some exercise while exploring Quinta's vineyards and historic sites.

During the morning, enjoy a memorable private Douro River cruise. During this 2-hour sailing experience, immerse yourself in Portuguese history and connect with nature as you glide along the river, inspired by the timeless routes once navigated by traditional Rabelo boats powered by wind and skill. Admire the dramatic vineyard terraces and ever-changing landscapes that define the Douro Valley.
After the cruise, take part in a Bôla Workshop at Viscondes da Várzea, where you will discover one of the Douro’s most traditional culinary specialties. Learn about the history and preparation of Bôla, a regional savory bread filled with local ingredients, and enjoy a hands-on experience that connects gastronomy with local culture.
After the cruise, the private driver will take you back to Porto or Porto International Airport (OPO).
